hi frio! if you could remember the night you performed @ subzero filinvest alabang, last sat 11/22… i was with the toyota group, remember the bday celebrant paolo? nweiz, just want to say na u guys made my (our) night worth waiting… i was actually disappointed with the front acts, as in i have to go out and spend the night @ seattles best. but when i heared you guys sung, bumalik na kami… la lang… i just find your music really amazing… keep it up and maybe you cud see us around again with your gig… = )

I saw Frio at SM Sta.Rosa last December 23rd,2007. That time I admired them for being such nice set of people. They didn’t hesitate to interact with their fans. I even took a lot of their pictures. I even managed to take a picture of me and Cristopher together. That had been so much fun for me. Now, I learned that no one smokes in the band…That was just fascinating to know that there are still RAKISTAS that don’t smoke..And if they drink,just occasional. Keep it up, Frio! I love your band coz you really make me ALIVE!

Their self-titled album was released last year under Alpha Music and already produced several hits, showing that music fans liked Frio’s type of music and on its way to heating up the Philippine music scene. Frio’s pop-alternative album has 10 tracks. The carrier single, “Alive“, which is also the first track, is an upbeat type of song. Alive was an instant hit when it was released last year and continues to be a favorite among music fans. I like the message of the song and the music is not too loud. The first Tagalog song in the album is called “Himig” the soothing voice of Sheila, Frio’s female vocalist, takes you to a light mood. Sheila’s powerful vocal can really take on a high note. [...]

Actually, they kinda chill the Pinoy rock music scene – they are POP – not rock – like the name of their band, I find their music cold – mucho frio. hehehe…
